Welcome to the official site for the documentary
 HOKIE NATION
. . . a film about a team, a town and the best darned fans in college football!
This documentary captures the passion and unity of Virginia Tech football fans, showcasing their unwavering support and traditions. If you’re inspired by this film, you can write movie reviews for us and share your thoughts on other great sports documentaries.

This Week with the Hokie Movie:

What's that smell?  Is that Chik Fil A (with just a hint of peaches?)

Besides making reservations, the Hokie Nation documentary is planning interviews over the next couple of months to wrap up our filming.

NEW STUFF!

December 20:  We caught up with legendary Virginia Tech Hall of Famer, Carroll Dale.  Carroll not only had an outstanding career at Tech, he also played in the last NFL Championship and the first two Super Bowls with the Green Bay Packers, the victors of all three contests.  He also played for the Rams and had another Super Bowl appearance with the Vikings before retiring to become the Athletic Director of UVA Wise.  Naturally, we tapped into all this experience for the Hokie Nation.

Game 12:  VT 17  UVA 0

November 25:  These are two happy Hokies--none other than Tech Hall of Famers and NFL greats Robert Brown (foreground) and Bruce Smith (rear).  Hey, how could a couple of defensive superstars not be happy with Bud Foster's squad which has allowed less than five points a game on average since Homecoming against Southern Miss?  The season average is less than 10 points a game, including two mid-season aberrations.  Oh yeah . . . we also beat THE OTHER university of Virginia.  Tastes sweet, doesn't it?

We got lots of great interviews this weekend.  Besides several former Tech players (including Robert Brown, Tory Smith and John Drinkard), we even caught up with Governor Tim Kaine.  We spoke with Jim Cochrane (right) who started the day with a little grilled Wahoo.  Jim told us about a whole neighborhood being planned in the Richmond area based on Tech's Collegiate Gothic style of architecture.  And we took a look at a collection of UVA "inspired" memorabilia from Tech alum, Dave Wilberger.  Trust us, you'll love it.
