Enjoy your stuff Richard, hopefully just not an oddball question Sir, ever had a guitar that you loved to play in a style you normally wouldn't equate to it's usage, for example, without mentioning makers, I owned a heavy metal pawnshop find, that just wispered beautiful jazz chords, and brought up to volume an expression, unique not normally thought of,?

…hi Rick …first of all I'm very thankful for someone like you who helps people ( musicians) understand music …and why certain songs are so well crafted ..( what makes them great ) in fact you're very eloquent with ur breakdown …. however , I have to disagree with ur assessment of Landslide …I mean , I get what ur saying ..that it doesn't hit u in the face with it's intro …but in saying that …when it hit ur ears…it most definitely takes you somewhere ….but anyway , huge fan of ur channel …and while I haven't contributed $$ .. personally …I've turned many friends on to your videos who have…keep doing what ur doing…ps ..hold on to every bit of your gear …your amazing son will appreciate it one day….cheers 👍

  • Reply Paul Muad'dib December 11, 2019 at 1:58 am

Should have been titled Top Acoustic Guitar Intros of the 60s and 70s. There was a lot of music after that era – even though he threw in a couple from the 90s. He seems anti 80s and 90s. How about Tesla -What you give, Queensryche Silent lucidity, White Lion- When the Children Cry, Live-Lightning Crashes, Metallica Fight Fire with Fire, Metallica -Battery, Everlast What Its like…I can name a bunch.

I must congratulate you on the choice of songs. Honestly I was saying to my self I am going to highlight Angie by the Stones, wish you where here. I knew Stairway to heaven would get selected . Beatles songs great too. That leaves two personal favourites of mine. It could be bordering a percussion signature I will give this a go . And I love her The Beatles on a different tangent Paul Stanley solo album Tonight you belong to me. No need to agree just my obscure personal taste sometimes not all the time. Please pardon me.
