Ticket to Ride 🔷 THE BEATLES 🔷 Guitar Lesson – Beginner

November 20, 2019

Bobby crispy this guitar lesson is about how to play [ticket] [to] [Ride] by the beatles Okay, so the intro starts off like this Okay, that’s the third string second fret first string open second string second fret Third string second fret second string open and first string open That repeats [ten] times the beginning okay, the rhythm for most of the song is this one two and three and four and okay, so after the intro goes to e minor II an F-Sharp minor for the Chorus 87 I’m sure minor again then d major 7 [1] [cor] back to F-Sharp Minor and ye back into the intro Then the bridge the rhythm for the bridge is like this All down strokes, so it’s D7 and E back to D7 few times and E And the solo a little soul, it’s like this okay, so that’s at the 14th fret third string [bend] up and back down Twelfth fret fourth string 14th fret third string slide up to the 16th fret second string [17] threat back to the 16th fret third string second string [17th] threat, bend up [Seventeenth] Regular 15th [and] 17th okay, suppose the song except for the intro if you want to play chords as chords it’s a and estas you oh [Hmm] okay, [ah] that’s a lesson. I hope it’s been helpful and thanks for watching

Bobby just trying to point out one small error, the 5th note of the solo is the 15th fret not 17. I normally have no issues with your tabs their dead on. Great lessons I've learned more from you in the past 3 years than anywhere else in 20.

  • Reply JL2996 August 29, 2010 at 9:37 pm

I love listening to this song over and over

  • Reply 2kids1fatdad September 6, 2010 at 3:18 pm

i think in the short riff the note after the slide to 16 is the 15 fret on the second string not the 17th

  • Reply gsstrings September 14, 2010 at 2:32 pm

@rfis2nasty Glad someone else can see this! Bob just trying to help keep it accurate.Never have problems with your tabs, please take a look its a very slight error.

  • Reply Javier Garcia April 29, 2014 at 9:07 pm

how the fuck is this easy? i dont even know wtf you talking about

  • Reply Everett Bailey May 4, 2014 at 2:55 am

Maybe after showing certain sections, give a playthrough of that section? You give a whole sequence of chords (Bm E F#m D7 F#m Dmaj7 etc.) but no indication of where in the song they belong; no indication of the rhythm. It's hard to describe but I'm having trouble matching which chords belong where in the song. Not criticizing mind you and I appreciate the effort.

  • Reply Vincent Lussier July 24, 2014 at 6:09 pm

1:38 is not correct. There are 3 chords that George plays over the 3 syllables of the word RIDE, RI HI HIDE, not just the Dm7.
It sounds fine, and no video on youtube or website that I know of has those chords and I can't for the life of me figure them out.

  • Reply Devin Greco July 27, 2014 at 3:54 pm

I'd like to thank you for your time and some useful tips on the riffs and chords in the song but your tabs don't even match what you are playing or saying.  You also really should play the real song at some point and where to play the chords, riffs solo and bridge.  That would really be useful.  Not trying to bash you, you seem to know what your doing you just could be more clear to your audience about the where's and whens.

  • Reply Yoyo December 9, 2014 at 4:09 pm

Why not make a demo – to see if it works – at the beginning or in the end? So that we'd be able to link every part (solos, intro, verses, chorus, outro and all the little details…)?

  • Reply Len Aldous May 13, 2015 at 2:55 pm

one chord is wrong in the chorus, should have a g in the second ride chord

  • Reply Brian Hart June 25, 2015 at 4:06 am

What's the name of the song that plays during your intro? That guitar parts sounds cool

  • Reply Miguel Vialich July 12, 2015 at 11:47 pm

    thank you!!!

  • Reply Randy Feguer July 15, 2015 at 1:52 am

You should learn how to count your frets on your guitar before you post your videos!!!

  • Reply Ben McGuinness February 11, 2016 at 7:55 pm

Try 2nd fret 3rd string then open 1st string then 3rd string 2nd fret two times then 2nd string open then 1st string open and repeat

  • Reply BJ Kruft January 31, 2017 at 5:07 pm

Close, but nowhere near close enough. I've only heard two guitarists and one band play this correctly. They were all from Liverpool.

  • Reply Richard Searles March 29, 2017 at 11:01 am

The chord at 1.40 (where it stops) is NOT D maj 7.. it's G maj 7!
