Hey, Paul Hey, Paul! Jeff! What are you doing, man? It’s lunch time. I know, what you are… what’s going on? Because, I, love, lunch. Yeah, I know, Jeff. Jeff, don’t sing a song, man. I love lunch! It’s half the way to dinner. I love lunch! If that’s a sin, then I’m a sinner. There’s soup to slurp and chips to crunch. I love lunch! Come on, there has to be somebody else out there who does. I love lunch. Well, sing about it!

There ain’t no shame in loving lunch! We love Hey! What’s going on here? We’re singing a song about lunch. Singing a song about lunch? We all love lunch! I love lunch toooooo! He loves lunch too! I love lunch too! / He loves lunch too! We all love lunch! We’re gonna sing it louder. We love lunch!
Ann Curry: I’m eating clam chowder! Clam chowder? Nice! Hows it taste? You know, it is a little chewy! Ah, it means the clams are local! Take a break! Escape the clock you punch! We love lunch! Can we eat now?
This is the song in every show That no one likes, because its boring A song like Sentimental Man, or Mr. Cellophane or…look that woman’s almost snoring I’m usually an older man Who wears suspenders and is lonely My range is limited and so The next three minutes will pass SLOWLY So if you have the tiniest suspicion That you should have peed when it was intermission Now is the time, you won’t miss much Oh, wait, here comes my Sort of, high nooooote! This is the song That no one likes Leading lady! Wait! Listen, leading lady I may just be a father, uh, a husband uh, a mayor or something, I don’t know But the important thing is I.. am not important I’m just an old Broadway legend who wanted a role where, I got to sing but I also got to sit down a lot That’s why five people clapped so loud when I walked out This the song where you can cough! So everybody get your coughs out Or you can whisper, “What’s the time?” “Where are we eating after this?” “Maybe we should just do take-out” Is this song even on the soundtrack? Not sure You skip it every time I’m sure they’d cut it but the leads are backstage changing, and they need a lot of time I’m also a veteran And sure, we all get claps at curtain call But once you leave, you won’t remember me at all And at the stage door, I’ll arrive and you may ask me for a photo But you’ll mean that you want ME to hold the phone Leading lady, wait! I want to give this to you It’s that pocket watch I mentioned SO briefly in the first scene It’s not a metaphor or an alegory or anything I just really don’t want to carry it around anymore Oh by the way, do you want to see my tap dance? That’s literally the whole thing They say you can’t enjoy the highs of life without the lows but Jesus this song blows
Hi, I’m Kyle Selig. I play Aaron Samuels in Mean Girls on Broadway and this is my Broadway Bucket List. (upbeat music) My first song is Run Freedom Run from Urinetown and for this Broadway Bucket List, I tried to choose songs that have been with me for a really long time and that sort of reveals my sort of weird taste in musicals. I think is what it turns into. And this song was actually my first high school audition song. It sort of felt like the start of everything so enjoy. ♪ Run, freedom, run! ♪ ♪ Freedom, run away! ♪ ♪ My friends, you have to run ♪ ♪ Run-a, run-a, run ♪ ♪ Freedom, run away! ♪ ♪ That freedom sun ♪ ♪ Will shine someday ♪ ♪ ‘Til then you gotta run ♪ ♪ Run-a, run-a, run ♪ ♪ Freedom, run away! ♪ ♪ There’s a trickle of sweat ♪ ♪ Drippin’ in your ear ♪ ♪ But still, you gotta run ♪ ♪ Run-a, run-a, run ♪ ♪ Freedom, run away! ♪ ♪ Now, don’t you fret ♪ ♪ And never fear! ♪ ♪ ‘Til freedom’s ♪ ♪ Won, won-a, won-a, won ♪ ♪ Freedom, run away! ♪ ♪ There’s a great big Cladwell on your tail! ♪ ♪ And he’s put his henchmen on your trail! ♪ ♪ I’m simply layin’ out the facts for you ♪ ♪ Great big Cladwell’s makin’ tracks for you ♪ ♪ Ain’t no time to relax when you ♪ ♪ Run, freedom, run! ♪ ♪ Run, freedom, run! ♪ ♪ Freedom, run away! ♪ ♪ My friends, you gotta run ♪ ♪ Run-a, run-a, run ♪ ♪ Freedom, run away! ♪ ♪ That freedom sun ♪ ♪ Will shine someday! ♪ ♪ ‘Til then you gotta ♪ ♪ Run, run-a-run run ♪ ♪ Run-a, run-a, run ♪ ♪ Hallelujah! ♪ ♪ Freedom run! ♪ ♪ With the wind in your hair ♪ ♪ You’ll run to freedom’s glory! ♪ ♪ That freedom sun will shine ♪ ♪ All over your freedom story ♪ ♪ I said freedom – ♪ ♪ I said freedom ♪ ♪ I said freedom ♪ ♪ Freedom run ♪ ♪ Away! ♪ My next song is Always There Not One Maiden Breast from Pirates of Penzance and it’s a weird choice for sure.
