All American Varsity ft. ASOS, Topshop, Primark, Converse, Pieces: Haul ROX S01E6/8

Hi, guys and welcome back to Haul Rox with
me, Alana. So this week I’m going to do kind of like an American themed haul. Very varisty,
All American college, that kind of feel. Can’t wait. [Music] So first up, I have a skirt from ASOS, and
it was 18 pounds. This is kind of like a skater skirt but it’s got that really nice detailing
with that ripped effect so it’s got a cool texture. And what I like about skater skirts
are you can wear them kind of high waisted or you can wear them on your hips, kind of
mix and match so whatever you feel for that day. They actually do these ones on the website
in a few different colors. Check them out. Have a little look. This is so American because
it reminds me of like a cheer-leading skirt so that’s why I picked it out. I would probably
wear this with maybe some like sneakers so I’ve got like Vans, and Converse so maybe
a pair of those because it looks really cute. I absolutely love this dress. I got it from
Top Shop and it’s 26 pounds. I really like the whole like baseball kind of themed tops
and dresses and the way it’s got like a two-toned sleeve. This dress is perfect for just like
chucking on like at the weekend with some trainers or sneakers and it just floats over
you so it’s just kind like a smock dress. And what I quite like about this dress is
that it’s got quite long sleeves though it feels not that hot. You’ve still got a bit
of sleeve to keep you warm and you can get your legs out for a bit of summer style. Now I love a play suit because you can wear
them in the day and the night. You can kind of like either wear them in the day with a
pair of trainers or Vans, you know, flat pair of shoes. Or in the evenings with a big chunky
pair of heels. I got this one for 36£ from Top Shop. It’s got a cute little zip down
the side here so really shows off your figure. So with this, you could either wear it just
like on it’s own or you could even pop a little T-shirt underneath. That would look really
nice. Denim is so All American as well. It’s got that real rustic feel about it. It’s also
got really cute pockets as well, like on both sides. And this kind of denim effect isn’t
like just a plain denim. It’s got a few kind of like, like it’s been washed through. And I also, wow. Look at this. This is so
cool and this was from Primark and it was only 6£. Can you believe that? This would
be great for like a summer holiday, perhaps? Or with a high waisted pair of denim shorts.
That would look so nice. And this one fastens at the back with some kind of like hook and
eye fastening. And it’s got like an elasticity back so it’s got a little bit of give in it
although it is kind of like a bralet top. I really like this piece because it’s such
a stand-out number. It says Katy Perry to me. That’s what it says. All-American. Look
at me. Love that. I got this top from Top Shop and it was 22
pounds. It’s got a little kind of cheer-leading slogo on it like pom pom squad which is very
very cute. And it’s got a really bright color as well so it’s really nice for summer. It’s
kind of cut off as well. It’s one of these kinds of tops that is really baggy but shows
off your midriff a little bit. And I really like how the colors are so bright on the text.
It’s got a real contrast and really stands out. Does anyone know what Saved by the Bell’s
team was? I can’t remember. But yeah, it reminds me of that anyway. And all of the items I’m featuring in today’s
haul are put in the description box so have a little look. I put all the prices and all
the links you need. I love Kelly from Saved by the Bell. She is
such a babe. This one is from Top Shop and it’s 20 pounds and it’s got a massive tiger
on the front of it. I do like animals so that’s why I got it. It reminds me of like an American
football team. It’s got that kind of vibe of that. And this is a kind of number that
I love to just kind of chuck on at weekends with a pair of shorts, maybe like a pair of
jeans. It’s just so casual, really laid back. Really nice day wear top. It’s like the sleeves
have been ripped off of it. It’s like it should have been a whole T-shirt and someone’s just
got a pair of scissors to it, cut the arms and cut the bottom off it. I’ve been wanting to get one of these jackets
for so long and it’s from Top Shop and it was only 45 pounds. It’s like a little varsity
jacket. This is like ultimate, I’m from American high school. And to make things better, it’s
got an A on it for Alana and I love that, cheesy as it is. So this one has the little
stripes, the very very American feel, varsity feel. And the A is made out of, it reminds
me of like a towel? It’s got the whole baseball kind of sleeves so yeah. Contrasting sleeves.
Can’t wait to wear this. It’s so cool. Nothing says All-American more than a pair
of these bad boys. Like Converse All Stars. Chuck Taylor style high tops, love them. I
had a few pairs of these in the past. I’ve had pink. I’ve had black, even a blue. But
I got a new pair now. Decided to go for some white ones because they kind of go with everything
and they’ve got the American colors to them and you can kind of wear these anywhere and
everywhere. They are such a classic. Rucksacks are so on trend at the moment. I’ve
got quite a big one. I always have so much stuff to carry like my gym clothes and everything
in my hand bag and makeup. Oh, so much. So I’ve got this humongous one. This is actually
by a brand called Pieces and I got it on ASOS for 55 pounds. Now it does seem like quite
a lot of money but the quality is so good. It’s got really durable kind of canvas effect.
It’s got little pockets in the front and it’s also got like a little draw string so it keeps
everything really safe and locked up. And such good colors as well like stripes, nautical,
very on trend. And fits in with the All-American theme as well. I also got these sunglasses from ASOS. They
were only 8 pounds. They’ve got that mirror-ish effect. It’s like an American police officer.
That’s what they remind me of. Or the Terminator. But no, I’m really joking but they are pretty
cool. Let me just try them on so you can see how they look. For how cheap they are, they’re
a really good buy because the thing that worries me about sunglasses are about the whole like
UV protection thing. They had a little sticker on it saying that they’re all good and they
are protecting you from the sun so you don’t have to worry about that. You don’t have to
spend a fortune on sunglasses to get a good pair. I got these socks from American Apparel and
they were 8£. So they are knee-high and they have a blue, red, and blue stripe. So really
sporty, would look great with a pair of trainers. Like a pair of pumps or something like that.
And with denim shorts. Just something a little bit extra to add to your outfit. Thank you so much for watching my haul today

Date Night Haul ft. ASOS, Warehouse, Topshop, New Look, Forever 21: Haul Rox S02E6/8

Hi guys, and welcome to Haul Rox with me,
Alana. So, this week, I’m going to be doing a date night haul, so, it might be a Thursday,
or you know it might be with your boyfriend. I’m going to be showing you some of my favorite
outfits that I would probably choose to wear out on a date. [Music] So I have this top from ASOS and it was £65.
This is a big show-stopper. It is absolutely covered in embellishments, sequins. This would
look so nice with a body-cone skirt or a pair of jeans. It’s one of those pieces that speaks
for it self. You don’t really have to team it up with much, you can wear it by itself.
What I like about it is this curved hem along the bottom, and it’s just got loads of embellishments
and sequins, I really love that. And because it’s really baggy it’s not that fitted. If
you’re going to dinner this would be perfect. You’re not going to feel uncomfortable after
a big meal. I got this playsuit from ASOS and it was like
£35. Everyone needs a simple black number, if it’s a black dress or a black playsuit.
What I like about a black playsuit is you can dress it down as well and make it quite
casual. This one is very flattering and classic, and if I was wearing this for a dinner date
perhaps I would go crazy on the jewelry, because when you wear black you can’t overdo it with
the jewelry, you can afford to. And wear really nice heels perhaps, or if it a more casual
date perhaps, I could still wear a big necklace or maybe some jeweled sandals, that would
look really nice. So if you’re worried that it’s a bit boring, that it’s just plain and
black, don’t worry because it’s got a little bit of skin that shows, and you can’t overdo
it with the accessories. This jacked is from Warehouse and it cost
£55. It’s not real leather, it’s that kind of pleather or fake leather, but it’s very
lightweight so if you are going on a date, you don’t want to be wearing anything too
heavy, too bulky. This is just perfect to kinda chuck over your shoulders. What is best
about this is the wonderful front because it floats over and you can see whatever you’re
wearing underneath, it’s not too covered up. You’re not wearing lots of buttons or fastening.
This is probably my favorite little piece to wear on a date night. I got this from ASOS and it’s only £22. You
can’t really see exactly how it is like this but I can try and hold it out. It’s got this
halter neck and a high neck. It’s something a little bit different rather than just wearing
a strappy top. And the back is the ultimate feature, it’s amazing. The back has this little
knot and it can open back so when I would wear this I would wear it with jeans. This
top and a pair of nice heels and this is such a good color. I love this color, especially
with dark hair. I don’t know if you can see the real good clash of colors so I really
like this color. From Top Ship I got this mini dress. It was
£35. What I love about this dress is the length, it’s very sophisticated. You’re giving
the right impression with this dress, I would say. It comes just below the knee. So when
you wear a dress like this you can really afford to go all out with the heels, because
you’ve not got too much leg on show. This is such a nice bright color on show as well
because you can really see it stand out-ish. And the back has got this gorgeous crossover
detailing. You’ve got a really nice open back. The length and the back complement each other.
If you want to see anything of these items in details and things about them, I’ll put
the links down below so you can buy all the bits and pieces that you want, and they’ve
been modeled on the links so you can see exactly how they look. You need a really classic blue of pair of
jeans to date. These are from ASOS and they’re £28. I love wearing jeans and heels and quite
nice tops for dates. It’s a really safe choice, especially if the weather’s not too great,
and it gives you that classy look I would say. These are a really good pair of jeans
to get ahold of. And if you’re not that into high waisted jeans, get yourself a good cut
jeans. It depends on your shape I guess. From New Look I have these shoes, they were
£19.99. If you’re in a rush, you have a last minute date coming up, these are the ones
you want to get a hold of because they’re a really simple color, they’re going to go
with absolutely everything that you put on. I love wearing these with jeans, maybe like
blue jeans I showed you earlier. Court shoes go great with jeans, and New Look are really
good because they have so many different colors, so if nude isn’t really for you, you can get
a really bright poppy color or black ones. These aren’t too high either so they’re not
going to scare the guy away. This is a perfect bag for a date. It was only
£20 from ASOS. It’s classy and sophisticated, and you can wear it like this with the strap,
or you can roll the handle up, pop it inside, and wear it as a clutch, so that’s another
option. I love this bag so much because I like to have a few bits of makeup with me,
you’re going to have your phone, your purse, and this bag isn’t ridiculously small, it’s
a really nice size to fit everything you need. It goes with everything that you’d wear with
it. A nice black clutch bag is a must for everyone’s wardrobe. I’ve got really into Forever 21’s jewelry
at the moment. It’s really affordable. These earrings are from Forever 21, and they were
£4.90. When it comes to jewelry on a date, I would either wear a necklace or earrings,
never both, I would never double them up because there’s too much going on in this area. If
I was wearing perhaps that high-waisted neck in a maroon color this would be great because
you couldn’t wear a necklace with that, because it has the high neck. This would look really
shiny and attract the guys attention, all eyes on the face, so that’s all I’m thinking
with that one., So I hope I’ve inspired you guys on what to

£100 Summer Wardrobe Haul ft. Topshop, River Island, ASOS, Only, H&M: Haul ROX S02 E1/8

Hi, and welcome to a brand new series of Haul
ROX on Videojug with me Alana. So, in this week’s haul, I am going to show you how you
can get a whole summer wardrobe for about a ·hundred pounds. So stay tuned. [Music] So, first up, I have these shorts from H&M,
and they were £14.99. And, patent shorts, with these floral shorts and jeans, very on
trend. Perfect for just, like, running around in in a pair of pumps in the summer. Just
for, I don’t know, you are laying in the park, or on the beach. Really great pair of shorts.
Everyone needs a pair of short shorts for the summer. It is all very well and good having, you know,
nice sandals and heels, but you need a comfy pair pumps for the summer, as well. These
are from H&M and they are only £7.99. Chuck them on, go to festivals in them. If they
get dirty, chuck them in the washing machine. It’s not the end of the day if they get broken,
if you know what I mean. I like to have a few kind of, like, good quality
tops. This one is from Top Shop and it is fifteen pounds, and it is such a cool color,
really bright, kind of coral color and it has got lace, lacy setting at the bottom.
So, it has got like lace all over it, as well. Why I picked this one is because you can wear
this day and night. I wear this one in the day with pair of little denim shorts and some
pumps, or you could really dress it up with, like, a body con skirt, or even like a skater
skirt, or some high waisted jeans. I know I promised you a summer wardrobe for
a 100 pounds, and I could show you a million, really cheap things, but I wanted to put one
slightly more expensive piece in. This one is actually 25 pounds from River Island. It
is a playsuit and I love playsuits. Playsuits work really well with heels and they work
really well with sandals and pumps. So, it is something you can wear day and night. Why
I picked this one is it is floral. It is very summery, very light and it has got these little,
like, cut out sections, as well, which are very on trend at the moment. Now, I bought a few of these now. They are
ASOS. kind of. crop tops.They are only seven pounds and they come in so many different
colors. What I like about these crop tops compared to others, like Top Shop ones, these
are really, really stretchy. So, they kind of are like body con ones. And I picked it
in white because white is such a, you know, a summer color, and it does go with everything.
You could wear a maybe really bright necklace, really bright shorts with it. And From H&M, I bought this vest body con
dress and it was ·£7.99. So, for £7.99 this is a really good buy because I wear this
with flip-flops, sandals and I even wear it with heels and a blazer sometimes. So, it
is a piece that you can kind of wear everywhere. I know I say that all the time, but I try
to buy a lot of pieces that I can wear day and night because I do not like just having
pieces that are only for one occasion. I like to kind of cross the boundaries, I guess.
It falls above the knee so it is a little bit shorter, but because it is like stretchy,
as well, it, kind of, it clings to your figure in a very flattering way. And from H&M, I also bought this necklace
for 7.99 It is one of those kind of like color bib
necklaces, really chunky. I am a big fan of being like comfortable in the summer. So,
I got this dress from, it is actually from A Source. It is by a brand called Only and
it was only fifteen pounds. It’s kind of like a smock, like skatery dress and it is not
just like a plain day dress. It has kind of got like this speckled effect on it which
I really, really like. OK so, for those of you out there, adding
up all of my purchases on your calculators. then yes I did go over slightly, £100.96,
so sue me. But, you know what I mean. It was about 100 pounds for a quite a varied summer
wardrobe. And, If you did like this kind of like budget
style haul. then please give this video a big thumbs up. And maybe I could do a different
budget, maybe like a fifty pound haul, or maybe a jewelry haul on a budget. So, just

Desafinado (Off Key) – Bossa Nova Guitar Lesson #12: Advanced Phrase 4444

Rhythmic phrase 4444 played with half speed. The whole phrase is played with staccato. The strings are muted both by lifting left hand fingers and by right hand fingers. The same phase played in normal tempo. Start with staccato. Half of the basic phrase. Third basic phrase Here João played F#7. This section is played with legato. Basic bossa nova phrase syncopated. Third basic phrase again. The first section repeated. When transposed to D, João played E9 here. Now the chord progression is changed. It’s still played with legato. Now move to staccato. This can also be played in the 7th position but this way creates brighter sound. Back to legato and to chord progression from the beginning, only slightly different rhythmic phrases. The melody and chord progression change, still played with legato. Finally, staccato in the end of the song. Rhythmic phrase 4444 in the song closing.
