Alright! Rock n’ Roll. Caballo, caballo. Pferd. Horse. Welcome to the East Side Gallery I’m a horse. You can call me the ´neeeeighh-kiiid´horse My name is Carl or as a street performer you can call me ‘The Neigh-Kid Horse’. I’m from Australia and I came to Berlin to make a documentary about street performers, but then I ended up to becoming a street performer for the film. And three years later I still playing on the streets. This is what I talking about. I play a mix of covers and some blues songs and I just make up on the spot. Mainly like rock and 60s, 70s stuff, a lot of Beatles, a lot of Rolling Stones,so I play Pop. But you know, stuff I like is stuff that’s popular. I mix that in between. Well, for me it’s not so much about the music. It’s more about putting on a show for people. I mean you can see my act is kind of funny. I dress like a horse and take out my clothes. And you know, maybe it’s because I’m not the most the best singer or the best gitarist. I just want to give people a good time. A lot of time I play on the East Side Gallery. You will walk on the wall and you will like ‘What the hell is that guy doing’ like he is in his underpants with a horse mask. That’s pretty strange, but they stop and they listen and have a big smile in their face. They come and take photos with me. It´s just a fun thing to people to enjoy. Well, I gonna played all around Europe. I mean in like London, in Prague, in Budapest, in Dresden, even in Spain: Canary Islands and Italy in Rome. Someone put my pants down once. That was actually just over here. Because I was playing in a bigger open space and people could walk behind me, and you know. Put up my pants when I am playing and I can’t really do anything about it, because I can’t see them. So now I just always try to play against the wall. So no one can come up behind me and do anything like that. One time someone also ripped my mask off and ran away with it. I actually on my eighth horse mask now.
