Hi guys and welcome to new guitar
lesson. In this video I’m going to show you how to play a really short and easy guitar riff. The one from Say Goodbye. And we’re going to start putting the index
finger on the 5th fret 5th string. And at the same time, I use the middle finger but you can use the ring finger as well. I put the middle finger on the 6th
fret 2nd string. And on the right hand we play the 5th string with the thumb, and the 2nd string using the middle finger or the index finger. You choose which finger works better for you. I use the middle finger. And we play both strings at the same time. Okay? After that we’re going to move both
fingers on the left hand, until they come to the 8th fret.
Both in the 8th fret. In the same strings that we had the first chord. So there we play again the same strings. And every chord is a two beats chord so we have to count: 1, 2… 1, 2… I play it one more time. And before we continue with the
video. If this is your first time in this channel, please subscribe and click on the bell so you don’t miss anything. Ok. So we come to the last chord. And we’re going to take the position that we had in the first one, but we have to move one fret up and one string up. Both fingers. So we get the index finger on the 6th fret 6th string, and the other finger on the 7th fret 3rd string. So the right hand has to move as well
one string up. So we play the 6th string and the 3rd. And this time, this chord is a four beats chord. So we have to count: 1, 2,3, 4. Ok. So we just have to put everything
together and keep repeating all the time these three chords. 1, 2… 1, 2… 1, 2, 3 and we start again. And we just have to get repeating. And that’s how you play the song Say Goodbye. If you want to support this channel
