I wish I had the skill to make a guitar. I have a hard time finding tools (I'm left handed and need left handed tools).

  • Reply bashpr0mpt October 13, 2019 at 4:26 am

It amazes me people can make a living doing this, their days are numbered unfortunately. And the artsy craftsy community usually vote far left, which openly destroys industries like this with global socialist outsourcing and importation of unskilled labour en masse diluting artisan fields and craft fields all so they can feel good and pretend they're nice.

I’m quite confused about in the ending sequence there are two different guitars even though they look very similar

  • Reply Dada Fan October 16, 2019 at 10:12 pm

Minutiae: at 50.54 you'll see Michael's mouth is slightly agape while tuning the guitar. I've seen this happen often by guitarists while tuning and I speculate that this may be a way of opening the eustachian tubes to the ears to allow the eardrum to vibrate freely and to produce a less flat reading of the sound by the ear. I know this is stupidly detailed but as I say, I've wondered…

Try 1/4" glass for a scrapper use a good cloth to hold- best scrapper is glass not metal…. ps if it's hand made NO MACHINES… sanding is by hand as well for a real luthier… also honduran mahogany is garbage you need genuine AFRICAN Mahogany… also if hand made then no Router mortises by hand chisel… you use machines & jigs all day long… THAT IN NOT HAND MADE… your just a small mass producer with those machines… and tell your apprentice to sand WITH the grain NOT across the grain… the finish isn't paint dude
