Hi Cheri. I just received my Black Satin CS-411 in the mail today. I ordered a size 22. I've noticed that I had about 4 inches  of modest panel exposed on my first wear for only 30 minutes.. Should I exchange for a size 24 ?

I have a question. If I want to wear my corset under my clothes, is there a way to tie it so that the strings don't show?

So I'm confused about seasoning… after you tighten it…make it  snug the first time you wear it for seasoning, do each time after that do you tighten the corset tighter than the last time or just tighten it snug throughout the seasoning process…. then you can tighten it very tight? Whew 🙂 I've been just keeping it a little snug when i feel it loose i tighten it snug again.

Is the seasoning process any different for the mesh corset? I just got mine in the mail today and I'm excited but I want to be able to season it correctly, even if it is different than from the satin one.

I never wore a corset before. I ordered one that didn't come with instructions. The first couple of times I wore it I didn't know to loosen it so much. I struggled so much. Now I do it right. How do I know if I damaged it.

This has been soooo seriously helpful for me. I ordered a black satin over bust corset and was worried about gapping but as I wear it more I can see it shape to my body and I'm so excited haha. I plan to be seriously into the waist training.

I have a cs411 black satin in a size 20". I am on my first wear (1st time) of seasoning and I have about a 1 1/2" roughly space gap from where the modesty panel is too the other side. Is that okay? Or is this too small? Naturally I have a 24-25" waist.
    Thank you!

Hi yesterday I received my  CS-301 in cotton and today is my second day breaking it in. How can I tell if it is fully seasoned and how long should I expect this particular style and fabric to be fully seasoned? Thank you! xoxo

  • Reply 1conec February 7, 2015 at 2:37 am

i wore it tight for the first two days, and i wore it for over 2 hours. should my corset still be ok?

  • Reply giselle60 February 7, 2015 at 5:17 pm

I received the cs411 and just finished my second wear.  I'm having a hard time figuring out what's snug and what's tight.  I have a 30in waist(solid, no squish) and a 26 corset.  I tighten leaving about a 1/2 inch space between the panel and the other side.  When I measure my waist with the corset on its about 31inches.  I'm not sure how snug it should be for seasoning.  Do you think I need to tighten it more or am I at a good place to start and then tighten another inch  every third day of seasoning?

  • Reply M Hacking April 6, 2015 at 12:28 am

Is it normal for a corset to stretch after seasoning it? I have 2 CS-301 corsets one which I seasoned by wearing it for 2 hours twice a day for about a month and the other I have just started seasoning today. When I lay them out and compare them my first corset is just over an inch 'longer' then the one I have yet to wear. Is stretching normal? If so how much and how do I take this into account when ordering a new one?

  • Reply Orchard Corset April 6, 2015 at 6:33 pm

@M Hacking Great question! Up to about an inch is normal (depending on the corset and the size of corset). Each corset new can have a +/- .25 inches (so a size 24 can measure anywhere between a 23.75 and 24.25 inches at the waist brand new). It could be that your first one was a little over and the new one a little under-exaggerating that effect.

Should you always have some type of clothes between you and your corset? Over bust too?

  • Reply chyara April 30, 2015 at 5:24 am

Do you have a video of a Plus size person putting on a Corset?  😀

  • Reply Ebby Person December 8, 2015 at 3:26 am

thank you so much for this video! I was so worried after everything that I had purchased the wrong size. I didn't realize the gaps would be that big. Seeing you put on the unseased one was reassuring.

Hello! I recently bought an under bust corset and not knowing this I have been wearing it around fully tightened or close to it for maybe an hour or few more at a time I have done that maybe 3 or 4 times now, is it too late or could be too damaged to season now? I haven't noticed it doing damage but I also am very new to this (I will be watching your videos!) I have worn corsets but none that are for waist training before(halloween cheap corsets previously). It brings my waist to a 23-22in area and my waist is 25.5in. I will do the seasoning steps, if I have caused any damage will that help? I'm sorry if this is poorly written I wasn't sure how to ask.

My satin corset is taking forever to season while my cotton one is pretty normal looking on me. I've been seasoning the satin one for weeks and the top and bottom just won't go to my body and I'm constantly worried I'm going to tighten it too much because you can barely see its progress

  • Reply CounTessa December 21, 2017 at 9:30 pm

I just got my cs-201 and I was worried I had it to tight but I have it exactly as the video shows it is cotton so I'm really going to try and go slow I'm just really excited it's my first real corset with a waist tape 😍

I just bought the mesh waspie underbust corset and I’m seasoning it but I think it’s seasoning faster than a week how can I be sure it’s ready before wearing it a full day?

I have had my corset for only 2 days now, but so far loving it. Only wear it to a point where I am comfortable while wearing it, and for a couple hours. I have a mesh one, and I am really excited to see what it does over time.

1 – The first time I wore my corset: My mind was consumed with the fact that something was squeezing me to death (it was only snug, not tight). I was too focused on my breathing, but I finished my 2 hours.

2 – The 2nd time I wore my corset (today): It didn't disturb me at all. And my family said my waist looked smaller than the first time I wore it, which means I inadvertantly made it "snuggier" than the first time and didn't even notice. 😁

I'm New to Corseting as I have only been Corseting for about a year. I'm five foot four and weigh 120 pounds and have a twenty nine inch waist. What I want to do with my corset is I want to have a twenty five inch waist AND I want to GAIN twenty to thirty pounds but have the weight redistributed to Anywhere but my midsection. I use light fitness training along with corseting. My question is: is my goal obtainable and are my expectations realistic? I used to weigh 198 pounds and I had really big boobs and a nice butt BUT I also had a fat stomach that made me look pregnant. I want my chest size increased without the fat gut. I do exercises and eat healthy foods every day. Also is it safe to wear a corset when on your menstrual cycle?

so.. when you're seasoning with an overbust.. and you have big arms.. how do you keep from boning your arms on the sides if it's not tightened up?
